First mark thc center 6 stitches of thc front, ll the leff placket is supposcd to be on top ol thc right placket. work to ju>t hefore these 6 stitches. Now alternatcly work 1 stitch purl twisted out of the horizon-tal thread, and knit l stitch 5 times. working the last stitch as a cham schcdgc stitch or as a senni selvedge stitch tn stockineuc stitch. At the heginning of the row, especially afrer the selvcdge stitch, the stitches have to be worked vcry rightly.
If the right placket ls supposcd to be on top of rhe lott one, work up to these 6 Stitches. I he lirsi ot these stitches is rhe ncw >elvedge stitch. Now alternatcly knit 1 stitch and inerease l stitch purl rwisred out of the horirontal thread, then continue iti the basie partem. Work the bur-łonlKiles (sec page* lOOłf.) in the top placket.
