In order for the stitches not to hccoinc loose ensily when you start u new skein. work the sclwdge stitch at the end of the row with the old yarn and the ncw yarn. Turn the piece and work the sehedge stitch and sevcrul sńtclics with the new yarn. Thcn puli >>n bctch yams so that the stitches will not get any liuiser agam.
Since knitted pieces are morę stretchuble in wklth thnn m length, yarn ends are always sewn individual~ ly and ecrtically into the sehedge stirches. Ii they were sewn in honront.illy, ihc ends COC kl e.isily come through to the front.

When you are working with thin yarn, it i> berter to sew the yarn ends in after u-u have sewn the pieces together. That makes it morę difttcult to sew the pieccs together. Also, you can usc the yarn ends for sewing.

Cut the yarn ends to ałunu 4" long and sew them m as described on middle photos I .md 2 above.

Then sew the yarn end in vertically. Never catch whole stitches, just parts of them. and don't puli the yarn too tight.
You can sew m yarn ends at the edges beforo or after you sew the pieces together. Always sew them individually and vertically into the selvedge stitches or seam.
