Growing good skills has never been easier! Cover the top half of the board with blue background paper and the bottom half with green paper strips cut to resemble grass. Add white paper clouds and an enlarged copy of the turtle with watering can pattern (page 69) to the display. Design a trellis from strips of white paper and attach it to the center of the board. Post examples of student work on the trellis. Accent the display with roses madę from tissue paper, chenille craft sticks, and copies of the elm leaf pattern (page 57).

Let students'imaginations soar.Cover the bulletin board with blue background paper and attach clouds cut from white paper. Make two copies of the bird pattern (page 68), then color and cut out each.Cut a banner from colored paper and attach it to the board with the display title inside,then accent it with the bird patterns. Make kites by cutting out paper diamonds for students to post spring adventure stories. Provide yarn, ribbons,and other craft materials for students to decorate the kites.
