Using the pattem-duplicating materiał, create the va lance pattern shown in Diagram 1.

From the decorator fabric, cut the following pieces, as shown in Diagram 2:

•    1 festoon (A)

•    One 4'/" ^x 37" (11.5cm x 94cm) casing (B)

From the eontrasting decorator fabric, cut the following pieces, using the pattems shown in Diagram 3:

•    Two T/" x 45" (19cm x 715cm) rod covers (C)

•    Four 5" ^x 45" (12.5cm x 715cm) bows witli slanted ends (D)

•    Two 4” ^x 5" (10cm x 12. ■jem) knots (E)

From the remaining eontrasting fabric, cut one festoon (A), as shown in Diagram 2. This will be the festoon lining.
