LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: Beginner •

MATERIALS: DMC Cebelia #20 (50 gm, 282 yds each bali): 1 bali whiłe. Steel crochet hook size 9 U.S. (1.4 Continental) (5 U.K.) or size to obtain gauge. One smali bunch of red berries with two green leaves. One 8 in. (20 cm) gold pipę cleaner. Fabric stiffener. Clear glue. Rustproof pins. Plastic wrap. Smali piece of thick cardboard.

MEASUREMENTS: 3% x 316 in. (9x9 cm),

GAUGE: 4 rows dc = Va in. (20 mm).

STITCHES USED: Chain st (ch). Slip st (sl st). Single crochet (sc). Double crochet (dc). Shell: • (2 dc, eh 1, 2 dc) in same st •.

NOTĘ: Always start with ch 3 instead of first dc. End with 1 sl st in first sc or third (dc) ch at beg of rnd.

Flnishlng: Cover cardboard with plastic wrap. Saturate Bells with fabric stiffener and stuff with plastic wrap, Puli each Bell into shape and place on cov-'-V \

ered cardboard. Pin out all ch-1 points of last rnd onto cardboard. Allow Bells to dry completely. Thread one end of gold pipę cleaner through hanging loops on both Bells and knot, forming other end of pipę cleaner into a hook shape. Glue 2 leaves with berries at base of pipę cleaner as pictured.
