“Out at...” means bring the needle from the back of the work through to the front.

“In at...” means take the needle from the right side of the work through to the back. Suggested colours: confetti pink thread on white card.

Flower 1.

Petal 1.

Out at A in at B.

Out at C in at D.

Out at E in at F.

Continue this sequence until petal 1 is complete.

Petal 2.

Out at G in at A.

Out at H in at I.

Out at J in at K.

Continue this sequence until petal 2 is complete.

Petal 3.

Out at L in at M.

Out at N in at O.

Out at P in at Q.

Continue this sequence until petal 3 is complete using the finished illustration as a guide.

Petal 4.

Stitch petal 4 in a similar way to petal 3 using the finished illustration as a guide.
