These pattem details should be used in conjunction with the Form-A-Lines General Instruction sheet.
“Out at...” means bring the needle from the back of the work through to the front. “In at...” means take the needle from the right side of the work through to the back. On many sections of this design some holes are used morę than once.
Gold thread on white card.
Flower 1 Petals
Work the petals in front stitch using the illustration as a guide.
Leaf 1
Out at A in at B Out at C in at B Out at D in at B Out at E in at B Out at F in at B Out at G in at B Out at H in at B Continue this seąuence until the leaf is complete. Notę the way the thread altemates from side to side. This allows the thread to lay flatter.
Work leaf 2 in a similar way starting with out at I in at J.
Stern
Work the stem in front stitch.
Add the leaf stems.
Out at K in at B Out at K in at J
Flower 2
Work flower 2 in a similar way to flower 1 noting that it is a mirror image.
With Love
Work the words “With Love” in backstitch using the illustration as a guide.
