“Out at...” means bring the needle from the back of the work through to the front. “In at...” means take the needle from the right side of the work through to the back. Suggested colours: antiąue gold thread on white card.
Boats.
See boat 1.
Sail.
Out at A in at B.
Out at C in at D.
Out at E in at F. Continue this seąuence until the sail is complete using the finished diagram as a guide.
Flag.
Stitch the flag using the diagram as a guide.
Sea.
Work the sea in stem stitch using the diagram as a guide;
Bow and Stern.
Work the bow and stern in backstitch stitch using the diagram as a guide.
Mast and hull.
Stitch the mast and hull using the diagram as a guide.
