“Out at..means bring the needle from the back of the work through to the front. “In at ...” means take the needle from the right side of the work through to the back. Suggested colours: confetti pink thread on white card.

Stems.
Work the stems in stem stitch using the illustration as a guide.
Leaf1.
Out at 1 in at 2.
Out at 3 in at 4.
Out at 5 in at 6.
Continue this seąuence until leaf 1 is complete using the finished illustration as a guide. Stitch the other leaves in a similar way.
Flowers.
Petals.
See flower 1.
Out at A in at B.
Out at C in at D.
Out at A in at C.
Out at B in at D.
Work the next section in a similar way.
Continue like this until the petals are complete using the finished illustration as a guide.
Centre.
See flower 2.
Out at E in at F.
Out at G in at H.
Out at I in at J.
Continue this seąuence until the vertical lines are complete.
Out at K in at E.
Out at F in at L.
Stitch the other flowers in a similar way using the finished illustration as a guide.
Border.
Out at 1 in at 2.
Out at 3 in at 4.
Out at 5 in at 6.
Continue this seąuence until the frame is complete using the finished illustration as a guide.
Altemative Border
The border could be worked in stem stitch to give a different look.
The borders on the rosę and starflower could be stitched like the sunflower frame. The hole spacing is the same on all.
