8-1/2* x • piece of card stock 4-3/8* x 5-3/4* envetope Markers. sequ<ns. and other decorations Pencil Ruler Sossors Butter knife Optional. giue

1.    Tracę the pattern on page 25 onto the card stock (make surę you enlarge the pattern as directed). Cut out.

2.    Place the ruler on each fold linę and. using the duli side of the butter knife, score along the linę.

What Does IT Mian?

Have you ever heard the word 'score" before? No; not like the score in sports or games! Here, “score" means to run an object. like a butter knife. along a linę on paper to make it easier to bend and fold.

3.    Fold the side sections toward the center.

On the right side of the card. cut halfway down the tree length, starting at the top of the tree. On the left side, cut halfway up the tree length, starting at the bot-tom of the tree.

5.    Carefully interlock the tree sections by inserting the left bottom slit into the right top slit, as shown.

6.    Decorate the card as desired.

Clue on any decorations that are not drawn.

7.    Even though it is not shown. you can also decorate an enve-lope to match the card.
