Safety signs arc required to complcment or cxpand the scopc of offlcially dcsignatcd signage. Many of the above signs will be requircd by various Registration and Classification Authorities to covcr safety and lite saving cquipment.

With increasing numbers of new vcssel and safety eguipment designs appearing. special signage is always required. We arc happy to manufacture signage to customers designs in the event of our standard rangę not mecling spccific rcquiremcnts (sec page 39). Sign 4130 U is an examplc of this. Bascd on the IMO symbol, this sign neatly overcomes the problems associatcd with stowage of lifejackets in high speed ferry cabins.

Installation:

Ali first aid points and first aid storuge should bc marked, as should emergency telcphoncs and emergency stop buttons. Chemical carriers and vessels carrying hazardous cargoes should mark emergency showers and cyc washes with the appropriatc signs.
