Allure (100% nylon, 47yd/43m. 1.75oz/50g). color H4011 Sabie.
Foundation: Using 2 strands wool and 1 strand novelty yarn held tog as 1 throughout, ch 4, turn.
Row 1: 9 dc in 4th ch from hk, sl st in top of ch-4.
Row 2: Ch 3. 2 dc in ea st, sl st in top of ch-3 - 18 sts.
Row 3 - 8: Ch 3, dc in ea st, sl st in top of ch-3.
Row 9 - 12: Ch 3, dc in next 13 sts, turn.
Cut the three strands of yarn to 12", thread with tapestry needle, and pass through lp on hk. Fold last row in half and seam tog with 12" taił.
Weave in ends.
Fold the opening in half and baste together with cotton cord. Felt in the washer, checking occasionally to see if the slippers are felted to your foot size. When the slippers are felted to the desired size and texture, remove the basting cord, adjust to the finished shape by trying on for several minutes, then carefully take them off and let dry in a warm, dry place.
