Foundation: Holding 1 strand of ea color yarn tog as 1 throughout, ch 60, turn.
Row 1: Ch 3, dc in 4th ch from hk and ea ch across, turn - 60 sts.
Row 2 - 43: Ch 3, dc in ea st across, turn.
Weave in ends.
• 6 balls (126yd/115m) fine weight wool yarn*:
• 3 white
• 3 blue
• Size I (5.5 mm) hook
• Cotton cord
• Tapestry needle
• 13" square backing fabric
• 12" pillow form
• Sewing machinę and
thread to match fabric and yarn
• Sewing needle and thread to match fabric
• Freezer paper
• Pencil
• Iron
• Ironing board
*Used in this project: 6 balls Dale of Norwa/s Tiur (100% pure new wool. I26yd/ll5m. 1.75oz/50g). 3 «n color #0020 OH White. and 3 in color H622? Lig hi Blue.
Fold the square in half and baste the edges together with cotton cord. Felt in the washer, checking occasionally to see if it is completely felted. When the square is felted to the desired texture, remove the basting cord, adjust to finished shape, and let dry in a warm, dry place.
