Save the Environment posters

Save the Environment. Discuss the environmental issues of endangered animals. threatened rainforests etc. and work in groups to design and prepare posters to encourage people to think about these problems.Read literaturę prepared by Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace etc. Pick out an animal or area of the world in which you are interested and design a 'Save the Whale, Otter, Badger, Rainforest...' etc. poster. Make surę that your poster gives enough information to make people think about the issue. Make surę it is eye-catching, sad. beautiful. funny (see display photograph)_r    .

Litterbug Monsters. Decide what a Litterbug Monster would look like. Would he have greeri feeth? a Coke can body? bottle legą? hair madę from chocolate wrappers? Make a Litterbug Monster from junk. Write an anti-litter slogan to put below your Litterbug.

Wayśide Pulpit. Look at the posters that you can see outside churches. Find out from the Head Teacher what the assemblies are to be about for the next week or two. Make posters to advertise each assembly, Letter the text or message carefully and paint a picture to go along with it. Pin the posters in the hall and corridor.

Sing-a-Jingle Make up a jingle to sell your favourite sweets/soft drink. It must be simple. use few words well and it should rhyme. It should be catchy and easy to remember. Make up a tune to go with it and play it on perciission instruments.
