Clutch Lever

The double pedał on the right side of the motor ia the gcur shifter. High gear is thrown in by pressing down on the toe end of this pedał, Iow gear by pressing down on the heel end of the pedał. There is no neu-trnl position. This pedał should be operated ąuickly when changing from one gear to other.

Clutch:

The long lever at the left side of the tank is the clutch lever. The clutch is released by drawing the lever back towards the saddle and is engaged by push-ing the lever forward. Operate the clutch lever slow-ly so that the motor will gradually pick up the load and move the machinę forward. It is not necessary to release the clutch when shifting from Iow gear to high gear but it is advisable to close the throttle during the moment it is being shifted. ALWAYS release the clutch when shifting from high gear to Iow gear.
