To select the AV INPUT modę:

1.    Press the PROGRAM button on the remote control, the main MENU appears.

If the clock has not yet been set, the LANGUAGE SELECT and CLOCK SET menu will appear.

In this case, select the language and set the clock, refer to instructions book.

2.    Press the numeral button of the VCR SETUP menu, the SETUP menu appears.

3.    Press the numeral button of the AV INPUT sigh to select the REAR modę. {for VHR-5425>

4.    When finished, press the PROGRAM button to erase the main MENU.

1.    Connect the color bar generator to the VIDEO INPUT REAR terminal.

2.    Insert the dummy pług into the AUDIO INPUT REAR terminal.

3.    After confirming on the oscilloscope that a 70 kHz ±5 kHz sine wave is being output, adjust VR2Q1 (BIAS) so that the AC voltmeter's reading is 26 mVmns.
