ONCE you've finished stitching, trim your evenweave to measure 32x32cm. Pin the pompom trim in place on your stitched piece so the pompoms face inwards. Youll find it much easier to create rounded corners as opposed to perfectly sguare ones.
USING a loose tacking stitch, machinę sew the white trim edge in place all the way around your cushion front. Overlap the two cut ends of the trim by about 2cm. Pin and hem one 32 cm edge on each piece of backing fabric using coordinating thread.
PIN each piece of backing fabric in place, right sides facing in. Using a zipper foot, sew all the way round, as close to the pompoms as you can, to make surę nonę of the white trim shows to the outside. Turn right side out and fili with a cushion pad or sutffing.
