ARM LOCKS FOR GROUND WORK
Second Arm Lock - Straight Arm Lock
Step One: Throw completed, Tlirower has main-tained sleeve hołd, extending Receiver's arm.
Step Two: Thrower grips Receiver's arm with
right hand, releases left hand grip, reaches under Receiver's arm, Photo #1.
Step Three: Thrower locks held arm under his upper arm; he re-grips with right hand at Re-ceiver's upper arm and grips his own right wrist with his left hand, Photo #2.
Apply lock and pressure by pressing down with both hands and leaning back with upper body, applying pressure against elbow.
Third Arm Lock - Bent Arm Lock
This is a variation of the Second Arm Lock, and may be used when Receiver twists and bends held arm. Steps l & 2 are same as above.
Step Three: Thrower places hands on shoulder of Receiver.
Apply lock and pressure by twisting forward and left with upper body, Photo #3.
Fourth Arm Lock - Bent Arm Lock
Step One: Assume Cross Body Hołd position.
Step Two: Thrower grips Receiver's far wrist with left hand and reaches under Receiver's held arm with his right hand to grip his own left wrist, Photo #4. Apply lock and pressure by raising Re-ceiver's elbow which applies pressure at shoulder.
Fifth Arm Lock - Straight Arm Lock
Step One: Cross Body Hołd position.
Step Two: Thrower grips Receiver's far wrist with his right hand and reaches under Receiver's held arm with left hand to grip his own wrist,
