To create our picture, weVe simply stitched one section of the main chart. It’s been worked on 28 count linen in two strands instead of 19 count evenweave in four strands for a morę delicate look.

Make your own frame for a fraction of the price of a shop-bought one
Step 1
USE a craft knife to cut a frame shape out of white mount card. Our frame measures 18x20cm witha 10x12cm aperture. Attach wadding to the front of your frame using double sided tape or PVA glue.
Step 2
CUT a piece of fabric to measure about 3cm larger than your frame around all the edges. Lay the fabric over the front of your frame. Puli around to the back untfl taut and attach wrth double sideo tape.
Step 3
CAREFULLYmtahole
in the middle of the fabric. Make diagonat cuts toward each comer, stopping a few millimetres before the corner. Add a dab of PVA glue to each comer to stop the fabric from fraying.
Step 4
PU LL the cut fabric round to the back of tf le frame and fix with double sided tape. Stretch the stitchmg around a piece of mount card and attach to the back using heavy duty double sided tape. Finish with a ribbon loop.
