Make an... aperture card

Step 1

LINEN can be difficult to get looking smooth. To create a perfect finish, the trick is to use Bondaweb. Iron your stitching fiat and back with Bondaweb.

Step 2

CUT a piece of white card that’s 2cm wider than your card's aperture. Remove the paper backing from your stitching. Centre your stitching on to the card and iron to fuse in place.

Step 3

ON the reverse, add double-sided tape around the edges of the aperture and stick your stitching in place. Still on the reverse, fold the left-hand flap over and secure in place with morę double-sided tape.
