Altemate Side Looping - a simple Three Loop Husking
This technique can be used to make a variety of shapes. Simply make loops on altemate sides, left and right, to the required shape, and then secure the whole with an enclosing strip. If the pattem shows no enclosing loop, you should be sure to add a dot of glue to the anchor point each time the strip touches it.
Put a dot of glue on the end of a strip and make it into a circle -perhaps around a dowel of some kind. Glue the strip to itself and keep wrapping round tightly until the ring is as thick as required. Glue down the end. The Ring Coil may be shaped a little if needed.
