Part 6: Jazz Fills With Double Paradiddles

The following pages use double paradiddles as jazz fills. Notę that each fili bar is now preceded by three bar; of the jazz ride cymbał beat with bass drum and hi-hat.

Ali the fili bars in patterns 1 through 5 below use double-paradiddle sticking around three drums (snare drum smali tom, and large tom). Practice all of these exercises at slow, medium, and fast tempos.

Notę: Once again, be surę to omit the third partial of the triplet on beat 4, during the third repeat of the jazz cymbał beat (*).
