Notes

Two sets of needles are used in the piece, one for the heavier-weight fiber, and one for the lighter-weight fiber.

The sling is madę in one piece, though the directions designate the front and back for darity.

FRONT

Using color A and the larger needles, cast on 38 stitches.

Row 1 Kfb, knit to the last stitch, kfb—2 stitches increased.

Row 2 Purl.

Repeat these 2 rows until you have 72 stitches.

Work even in stockinette stitch until the piece measures 6" (15cm), ending with a purl row.

Change to color B and the smaller needles.

Next row (Right Side) Kfb across the row—144 stitches.

Work even in garter stitch for 3 rows.

Change to color C.

Next 2 rows

Row 1 K2tog across the row—72 stitches.

Row 2 Change to the larger needles, and purl.

Work even in stockinette stitch until this color section measures 316" (9cm), ending with a purl row.

Change to color B and the smaller needles.

Next row (Right Side) Kfb across the row—144 stitches.
