For Row 2 you will requirc only one shurtle and the k. rhread CTM. Wind 2 m (80 inches) on the shurrlc. Do nor cur the thread. Havc all the ricc or bugle beads and the One crochet hook ready. Wirh rhc righr sidc of the work facing up, start witli a shurtle join at the corner of a tarred squarc on rhc side of Row I. Kccp your rension Orni for this row so that rhc chains will curve nicely. Chain 5ds. Thcn place one bead onto the end of the crochcr hook, slip it onto the firsr measured picor and make a shuttie/lock join. Chain 4ds and place a bead on rhc ncxt picot in a similar fashion. Chain 4ds and place a third bead as before. Chain a further 5ds and chen make a shurtle join inro rhc tip of the next square.

Conrinue this panem along the sidc of your choker to the lasr $quare. Thcn work around the end ring with 7mp, ratring the respcctivc chains. Dcpcnding on the rype of jcwcllcr)' clasp you want, a couplc of picots could be added to the chains at the end so rhc clasp may be anachcd later. Sec the above diagram for the chains of 3ds, p, 3ds. Work along the other side, placing beads on the remaining picors. When you complcte Row 2 end off neatly. Attacli your choscn jcwcllcry findings and/or clasp.
