ASSEMBLING THE BARS

The feet conslst of four main parts:

-    the foot proper wtth its tigbteni.ng mechanism;

-    tie-rod (1) marked D53;

-    shoe (2) marked 9172;

-    the shoe protector or thrust pad (3).

Assemble the parts in the followlng order:    1 - tle-rod + 2 - shoe + 3-

protector).

POSITIOHINC THE BARS ON THE 7EHICLE

Mark the position of the bars on the roof.

Front feet 260/280 mm away from the door upright centreline (A).

Rear feet 720/760 mm away from the front foot (B).

then pushing horizontally.

FITTING THE ASSEMBLED BARS TO THE 7EHICLE

Shoe (2) fits Into the tie-rod hook then lta neoprene protection must be applied (3 bum for the front shocs and 5 bum for the rear).

The tie-rods must pass under the front door frarne seals.

The a3sembled Toot is then fitted onto the bar (850 mm long), eentring the tLghtenlng bolt on the centrelLne of the
