4-8 CYLINDER. CYLINDER HEAD AND PISTON

•    Face the embossed mark on the piston top to the exhaust port side.

•    In stall the piston pin and new piston pin circlips.

NOTĘ:

*    Place cloth under the piston to prevent the piston pin circlip from dropping into the crankcase chamber.

*    Piston pin circlip ends should face upside.

CYLINDER

Install the cylinder in the reverse order ot removal. Pay attention to the following points:

•    Fit a new gasket (1) and dowel pins.

•    Apply engine oil to the cylinder borę.

• Tighten the cylinder nuts to the specitied torque according to\ the specitied tightening order as shown.    '

H Cylinder nut: 38 Nm (3.8 kgf-m, 27.5 Ibfftj %

• Tighten the exhaust valve rod bolt using the pin @ as a stop-per.

NOTĘ:

The pin (2) is one of the included parts.

[5 Exhaust valve rod bolt: 10 N m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 Ib-ft)

•    Fit a new gasket and install the exhaust side valve cover ®.

•    Tighten the bolts.

H Exhaust side valve cover bolt:

4.5 N m (0.45 kgf-m, 3.3 Ib-ft)
