10-12 TRANSMISSION AND CRANKSHAFT

Install the right crankcase half on the left crankcase :half.

•    Apply transmission oil to the tollowing parts: bearings, gear-shift forks, gearshift shatts gearshift cam.

•    Reassemble the gearshift forks ®,    ®.

• Install the gearshift cam (6) and gearshift shafts ®.

NOTĘ:

Tum the gearshift cam to the neutral position and confirm that the driveshaft and countershaft tum without resistance.

CRANKCASE REASSEMBLY

• Install the new gasket and dowel pins.

• Tighten the crankcase bolts.

[5 Crankcase bolt: 10 N m (1.0_kgf-m, 7.3 tb-ft) ^x

Ifit is hard to tighten the boits,separatę the crankcase and confirm that the transmission parts-areasśembled correctly.

Instaii the damp to the bolt ®.

•    Inspect the crankshaft for smooth movement.

•    Apply grease to Oil seal and O-rings CD. Fit the O-rings CD and spacer <2> to the driveshaft.
