PREPARATION AND PAINTING METHOD *This method is also valid and recoraraended for repaired detachable or welded components.

Degrease - Kask off interior.

* Clean back the welded or repaired areas with P100, used dry (orbital sander, pad).

* Rub down the replaced part or eld paintwork with P320, used dry.

*    Blow off and degrease.

*    Apply chrome phosphate primer to the bare metal.

*    Apply surfaeing mastic or primer.

*    Rub down with a pad (P400 paper used wet or P150 paper used dry).

*    Mask off, if neceeBary.

*    Apply finl3hing primer (single or two pot).

Apply anti-corrosion protection (products and use page 90-b).

Paint the interior surfaces and match the colour on a primed test piece 200x200 ram.

REFITTING JURTAPOSED COMPONENTS

* Remove the gloss from the primer wi		th
	P800 paper, used wet		P1000-P1200, used wet
	for opaÄ…ue finishes		for two coat finishes

*    Blow off - Degrease,

*    Preparation of blended-in parts and/or preparation of adjaccnt components for a "lost-in" application.

*    Mask off (after checking and matching the colour).

*    Place the vehicle in the paint booth (apply the cover and earthing braid).

*    Degrease.

*    Blow off and wipe down with a Chemical tack pad.
