TO MA KE- SCA RF:Starting at narrow edge, ch 118. Row l : Ch 3. work dc in 4th st from hook.cont across beg ch in sm and om. following diagram. Ch 3 to turn throughout. Cont to work in sm. om and lacet st as per diagram. Aftcr completing r 245. fasten olT. For Fringes : Cul thread in 10” lengths. foki 5 strands in halfand knot in each om (2 in sm at each corner of scarf).

TOP - FRONT: Starting at Iower edge. ch 199. Row 1 : Ch 3. work dc in 4th st from hook. cont across beg ch in sm and om, following diagram. Ch 3 to turn throughout. Cont to work in sm, om and lacet st as per diagram. Aftcr completing row 64. fasten off. Bock : Work same as for Front. Aftcr completing both picces, sew side seams. Straps: As per diagram, altach thread to front and work in om and lacet st until strap measures 13 1/2” or length desired. Fasten off. Work 2nd strap to correspond. Sew end of each strap to back.

BAG : Starting at center of bottom, ch 8 and join to form ring. Rnd I : In ring work 14 dc (3 ch count as first dc throughout): close with sl st in top of ch-3 throughout. Shoutderstrap: Attach thread with sl st over dc as shown in diagram, work 5 om over 5 om of bag; ch 5, turn. Work evcn until strap measures 37” or length desired. Fasten olT. Sew end to bag.
