błock of flats: noisy neighbours, traffic noise, lift often does not work; problems with disposing rubbish;

detached house in the suburbs: heating in winter, far from shops, no school in the neighbourhood, prone to burglary, a lot of work to keep the lawn;

mansion: heating in winter, high electricity bills, cleaning; far from entertainment and shopping centres, expensive to keep a big garden;

caravan: little room, having to use common bathrooms and toilets at camping sites, heating in cold weather; prone to burglary.

4. Which of the places would you certainly not want to live in? Why?

I would certainly not want to live in a mobile home:

•    uncomfortable to live in; little space;

•    no private bathroom or toilet;

•    going to the bathroom at night and in bad weather must be awful;

•    using common facilities at the camping site; ąueuing;

•    thin walls; little privacy;

•    must be cold in winter;

•    not safe; easy to break into.

5. What should a house you want to live in be like?

fortune-telling: using a crystal bali, tarot cards, playing cards, tea leaves, coffee grounds, palmistry in order to tell people what is going to happen to them in the futurę horoscope: description of your character and the things that will happen to you based on the position of the stars and planets at the time of your birth

superstition: anticipating good or bad luck based on the belief that certain objects and actions are bound to bring good or bad luck

interpreting dreams: night dreams are believed to have symbolic meanings which represent what is going to happen; dream-books are available to explain the meaning of various dreams
