Design Concepts

Perhaps 150 borders are not enough, and you haven’t found the perfect one for your project. You should design your own! Here are some design tips to getyouthinking:

Simple borders. Although the foliowi ng pages include some simple edgings, we wouldnt want to forget the very simplest ones. Sometimes these tiny edgings are all you need to complete a piece. (Dont forget to put extra stitches in any corners.) The reverse single crochet (or crab stitch) makes a lovely, corded-looking finish on any edge. The simple picot is another versatile stitch: Experiment withspacing ofthe picots to getthe ideał results.
