FINISHING FOR ALL GLOBES

(Refer to Helpful Hints): Weave in all ends. Cover 3" styrofoam bali with plastic wrap. Saturate globe in stiffener and shape around bali. When rigid, remove styroloam bali and insert satin bali. Tie loops together at top. Attach gold ribbon as hanger.

For Irish Rosę Only: After work is satu-rated with stiffener. stuff firmly with plastic wrap. Remove plastic while globe is firm but still tacky. Shape by hand.

Rnd 4: Work as for Rnd 3 working ch 3 instead of ch 4 and end rnd as for last rep on Rnd 3. Rnd 5; Sl st to next ch-3 Ip, ch 3 as 1 dc, 2 dc in same ch-3 Ip, ‘ ch i, skip next sc ”, 3 dc in next ch-3 Ip. Rep from * around, end last rep at ". Sl st to top of beg ch-3 to join. ROSĘ: Rnd 1: Attach thread to any picot of Rnd 9 and work in picot as follows: ch 1; (sc in same picot, ch 4) 6 times - 6 ch-4 sps. Sl st to first sc to join. Rnd 2: Ch 1, work (sc. hdc, 3 dc, hdc and sc all in next ch-4 sp) 6 times. Join. Fasten off. (Skip next 2 picots on Rnd 9, work next rosę in next picot) 3 times.

HANDLE: Ch 12, sl st between 2 sc of Rnd 1 of Bell, ch 1, hdc in each ch across. Sl st to corresponding opposite Ip of Bell. Fasten off.
