The first thing is the basie shape. This eye is a “maturę" one, so it should be fairty long and narrow. The lines are quite straight. but there is still a definite curve to them; hcep the lines smooth and flowing. aa The eye should be a near almond shape. Even if you don’t draw the lines connecting the top llds to the bottom, its importont that they would connect smoothly łf you did. :3	Next is the iris. 8D The iris' size can be debatablc, but if it tabes up morę than half of the eye it can be a bit ouerwhelming. The iris is circular, even if the whole iris isn’t showing-	Ohay- The golden rule of onime drawing is that the darber it is, the thieber and darber the lines are. Imagine that this was an actual eye. Since the eyelids would blocb some of the llght, the lines are thieber where the iris and the eyelids meet. The comer of the eye would also be thieber-	Eyelashes! Anime is all about simplifying things- So we don't draw each and every eyelosh here. Just ersough so that you get the Idea. Most of the eyelashes are seen at the comers of the eye. Since the cyc curves, the eyelashes do as well, mabing them morę visible there. They should be done pretty thieb in quicb, smooth strobes. There are also eyelashes on the bottom lids. but not as many. :D	Pupils should be centred in the middle of the iris, even if some of the iris is behind the eyelids. Eyelids bunch up when someone’s eyes are open. !eaving a crease :3 For an eye libe this it should run almost parallcl to the cyelid, and is quite long. Also, for this type of eye, the eyobrow should be reasonably close to the eye. Eyebrows are bit longer than the cyc, and are thieber on the one side-	Now for some shading. A bit of shading above the crease so you can tell that. well, its a crease XD The area bellow the top and bottom lids is shaded slightly from the shadows of the lids. Kccp in mind your light source. though. The pupil can also be shaded now, but not darber than the lines from before. This is because pupils are actually see-through, so some of the light bounces bacb from the bacb of the eyes. Just thought Pd let you bnow that 1 have an actual reason behind all this :D	The rest of the iris is shaded now. Shade dorber near the edges of the iris, and at the top of it as well. 1 libe to add lines in the iris to mabc it secm a bit morę realistic :3 Just strobe a bunch of lines, but mabe surę that they all lead toward the center of the pupil. Mabing them darber towards the iris also gives a cool effect XD	Obay! For the finał touches, grab either a bneaded eraser or a pointy edge of an crascr-First. run the eraser in the space between the crease and the eyelashes: morę 3D action! >8D Then, erase the part of the iris just outsidc of the pupil. This mabes the eye loob shiny-Eyes are reflectioe, so they’ll reflect light from your light source. So, drag your eraser across the eye, herc its on the left because my light source is on the left. Touch up by mabing some of the lines darber, libe the eyelashes, and its done!! :D

This is a girl's eye- So that gcncrally means that its not as narrow as a guy's eye, and morę fuli. It still needs to be a almond-ish shape though :D If you're loobing for super-tricbcd out girly anlmc eyes, then Pm afraid you've come to the wrong pla<e *»•;	Since the eye is fuller, that means that morę of the iris is shown- But the iris still has to be circular :3	Same as before, the iris when it comes in contact with the lids should be darber- aa	Lashes worb the same as well. cxcept girls tend to have morę of them. That means that the lashes should be thieber-	Pupils should again be in the middle- Eyebrows for girls are a bit curvy-er than guys. but still are slightly longer than the eye. The eyelid crease should follow the lid and is placed towards the insidc of the eye :D	Shading worbs about the same for any eye- So there's not rcally much to say here **;;	Again l'vc drawn lines in the iris XD Vou don't hove to though.	Same thing as above with the shiny-ness. If you want to mabc it even shiny-er you can add morę reflections of light on the eye- For this eye 1 also added another linę around the iris. 1 actually don’t usc that vory often, but it's still a cool effect-Just mabe surę that the linę is darber at the top and lighter at the bottom :3

This one is similar to the one above. but is the guy version.-so it’s narrower :D	A slightly smaller iris, with a bit morę of it under the lid-	Once again, the same as above- XD	Lashes are optional for guys. A lot of people don't even draw lashes for them. But 1 libe pretty guys *cough* So. That means lashes >///>	1 tend to point my eyebrows slightly downwards for guys, to mabc them loob morę serious- *a Eye crease almost exactły as avove, still foliowing the lashes.	Shading's pretty much the same again XD	As is this- :3 So really, once you bnow the basics of drawing eyes, you can draw many different types using the same techniques! *^A	This one has a slightly different light source. Instead of coming from straight on left. its coming from a bit bellow the eye. XD See how it tilts towards the ground? **-
