SUB JECT: BACKUP ALARM AND ACCESSORY CONNECTIONS
Provisions have been made in the wiring harness for connecting accessories and backup alarms. Refer to
the Diagrams Manual, 8000SRM579 (P/N 897706) page six. Plug X-16 is a three pin plug that has wires
#13B & #13C, (battery negative); #80 & #80A and #95 (battery positive). The connector is located
behind the instrument panel next to the hydraulic valve.
" Backup alarms should be connected to wires #80 and #13B/C. This is a direct connection to the
reverse switch.
" Other accessories such as computers, lights, etc. Should be connected to wires #95 and #13B/C.
" To connect accessories to the harness you will need the mating connector and pins:
1 P/N 2305725 Connector
3 P/N 1305672. Pin
Connecting accessories in any other locations could cause severe damage to the main interface board
(MIB) of other components. If in doubt contact Service Engineering before making connections.
