Experimental evidence of a new class of massless fermions

A novel type of massless fermions called fortunę teller fermions are shown to exist in a subsurface region of a Silicon crystal. The newly discovered electronic structure has strongly anisotropic character and consists of planes forming pyramidal and fortunę teller-like energy dispersion bands instead of well-known cones.
