Information needs of marketing Function:
The information of a typical marketing department would include:
Customer contact and promotion information - Establishing contacts with the potential customers is the first step in marketing process.
Sales information - marketing activity must flow to convert the contact into addition to revenue and customer satisfaction.
Market research information - Market research is primarily concerned with ascertaining the size of market for each of the produce that the company is interested in and maintaining a close vigil on the strengths, weaknesses and strategies of competitors in the market.
