1" Create thread base. Wrap lead wire. Secure lead wire with
thread.
2" To form a smooth transition, tie tail just behind lead wraps. Tail
set position is at barb of hook. Tail length should equal hook gap.
Tie in rib material.
3" Dub forward to half of usable shank length. Palmer rib forward
and tie-off over lead.
4" Tie in wing case material. Secure back to abdomen.
5" Dub thorax with dark hare s ear dubbing. Fold wing case forward and whip finish.
Pick out thorax with a bodkin to simulate legs.
