Do make sure to get the binary for the appropriate platform to make it work. Q: Does Sandra run on Terminal Server OS versions? A: You need Sandra version 8.12 or later for proper Terminal Server support. Q: Does Sandra work on (Advanced/Enterprise) Server? A: Yes, there are no restrictions based on OS type. Q: What is the point of the Unicode versions? A: Future versions of Sandra will be Unicode only for native Windows 2000/XP support. Q: What single Sandra version should I deploy across my combined Windows network? A: Deploy the 32-bit ANSI version of Sandra which should work on all those OSes; if you don't have any Windows 9X/Me workstations, deploy the 32-bit Unicode version of Sandra. Q: Windows XP installer asks for Sandra to be uninstalled before proceeding! Is this valid? A: This refers to older versions of Sandra. Make sure you're using at least Sandra 2001se (7.5x). Q: Does (for example) Sandra 2000 require Windows 2000 (and so on)? A: Not really, but recommended. You should not use lower versions of Sandra on higher versions of Windows (e.g. don't use Sandra 99 on Windows 2000) but you should be able to use higher versions of Sandra on lower versions of Windows.
