Using the YVinnt32 Command

The syntax of the winnt32 command is as follows: winnt32 [/s.sourcepath] [/tempdrive:ć//7ve]

[/unattend [mmi ]:answerJile ]

The following table deseribes the switches that the winnt32 command uses.

Switch Action

/sisourcepathSpecifies the location of the Windows XP Professional files. To copy files from multiple servers simultaneously, specify multiple /s sources. /tempdrive:*/r/veDirects Setup to place temporary files on the spec ified

drive, and install Windows XP Professional on that drive.

/unattend[num\ : answer_Jile?erforms an installation in unattended modę. The

answer file provides Setup custom specifications.

Fornum, type the number of seconds between the

time that Setup finishes copying the files and the time

that Setup restarts the Computer.
