Prehistorie period in Great Britain

Prehistory - period between the arrival of the first humans in Great Britain (Stone Age man migrated to Britain across the land bridge that then joined Britain to the rest of Europę) and the start of recorded British history (the history of Britain is conventionally reckoned to begin in AD 43 with the Roman invasion of Britain).

-Morę than two thousand years ago (around 500 BC) there was an Iron Age Celtic culture throughout the Britain Isles. The Celts who had been arriving from central Europę of further east, from Russia from the 8^th century BC onwards intermingled with the peoples who were already there.
