The assumptions of the New Way fit into the paradigm of inclusiie rehabilitation, in which an importantplace is deioted to former conńctedpersons undertaking actińty. Hence, the introduction in the article is based upon the above issues. Due to the important role of the detainees’ moiement, the matter of thephysical acthity of socialjy maladjustedpersons has been emphasised. The main goal of the authors of the article, howeier, was to reflect on the completedprogram and to signal the first signs of its high effectiieness of rehabilitation. The conclusion of the article is an indication of futurę actiiities connected with continuing the New Wayprogramme on a national scalę.
