Dear Readers,

on behalf of the Scientific Committee we have a pleasure to recommend to you the current issue of the “Polish Nursing”.

The contents of this volume are diverse but they express the scope of clinical and scientific interests of medical personnel and research workers of medical universities and other colleges. We hope this issue will meet with a positive response of our Readers.

In the current issue you will find papers with different areas that include research on issues related to health and healthy lifestyle. Have a good time reading!

We also recommend article which is especially important in the context of caring for pregnant, in which the authors compare care in public and private health care system.

Another paper important for nursing personnel is article written by Anna Galęba, Beata Bajurna “Dermatophytosis of the scalp” and written by Iwona Robaczewska, Małgorzata Filanowicz, Bernadeta Cegła “Nursing action ba-sed on the use of specialized dressings saling a diabetic foot”.
