Professor Grzegorz W. KOLODKO is an
intellectual, a politician, and a key architect of Polish economic reforms, and a member of the European Academy of Arts, Sciences and Humanities. He is the author of numerous research papers and books published in 26 languages, including the intemational bestseller, “Truth, Errors, and Lies: Politics and Economics in a Volatile World,” which was nominated for the Michael Harrington Award for being “an outstanding book that demonstrates how scholarship can be used in the struggle for a better world.” While serving as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance (1994-97), he led Poland to the OECD. Holding the same positions in 2002-03, he has played an important role in Poland's integration with the European Union. Professor Kolodko is the Director of TIGER (Transformation, Integration and Globalization Economic Research) at Koźmiński University in Warsaw. He is also a marathon runner and a globetrotter who’s explored morę than 160 countries.
