Clioicc Based Credit and Grading System enables a much-rcquired shift in foeus from tcachcr-ecntrie to kamer-ccntric cducation sińce the workload estimated is based on the investment of time in Icaming not in tcaching It also focuses on continuous cvaluation which will enhancc the quality of cducation Unrversity of Mumbai has taken a lead in implementing the system through its afTiliated Institutcs Faculty of Technology has dcviscd a transparent credit assignmcnt policy adopted ten points scalę to grade leamcr's performance Credit grading based system was implcmcntcd for First Ycar of Engineering from the acadcmic year 2016-2017. Subscqucntly tliis system will be canied forward for Sccond Ycar Engineering in the acadcmic ycar 2017-2018. for Third Ycar Fina! Ycar Engineering in the acadcmic ycars 2018-2019, 2019-2020, rcspectively
