* People who are already in quarantine when they develop C0VID-19 symptoms are isolated and household members are in quarantine until test results are available.

** Chi Id ren of prima ry school/child care age who only have a runny nose and are in generał good health without other symptoms ofnew respiratory tract infection do not need to stay at home.

*** For children of primary school/child care age who have mild symptoms, observe the symptoms at home before testing. Ifthey recover quickly, they can return to school/child care without being tested.

**** Mild residuaI symptoms after a respiratory tract infection (such as persistent cough and runny nose) can be ignored.
