Defend the assault team base against alien attack.#
Upon entering the portal, the assault team was transported to an unknown planet, travel time was a matter of hours, but the distance covered was several hundred light years. Local reconnaissance has revealed Egyptian-style architecture and a hostile alien civilization. You should inflict maximum damage to all alien buildings, plus we have identified several heavily defended key structures that must be destroyed to take the portal out of action. If you can achieve this then the alien threat will be eliminated from our solar system.#
The assault team has managed to achieve the ultimate goal: the alien portal has been destroyed. However, just before the portal permanently closed, several objects emerged from the portal with a large fighter escort and are currently moving at extremely high speed towards the Earth. We cannot predict what they are, but can only surmise that they are some sort of weapon of mass destruction. Only time will tell.#
When the assault team entered the portal, we knew the risks but had been lulled into a false sense of security by our past victories. The overwhelming power of the alien defenses was too much for our tiny invasion force and they failed to shut down the dimensional portal. The massive alien craft detection readings emanating from ADATA's systems can only mean one thing: the end of humanity is near.#
