Masjid Haji Ismail Sait

The history of any English speaking Pastorate in Bangalore, cannot be separated from the days when the Christian Church existed only among the British soldiers and civilians resident in India with their dependants.formerly known as the St.JohiYs Hill Church, was one among the two main English speaking Churches founded by the former Wesleyan Mission on the 31 st July 1888
It is situated on Millers Road in the city inside an Eidgah ground. The mosque is very close to the Bangalore Cantonment Railway station. It is not a very old mosque having been built in the year 1981 by Mr. Mohammad Abdulla Basha in memory of his father late Abdul Khader, who was a leading industrialist of the city.
Constructed in 1914, Coles Park located in Fraser Town is spread over 12 acres. This is not only one of the biggest parks that Bangalore can boast, but its historical significance is also worth a mention. During the colonial rule, military bands played here. The Bangalore Rifle Volunteers played marching musie on special occasions.
