While the leg is kept stationary, the foot only is moved round at the ankles. the great toe describing as wide circles as possible (Fig. nói, \Vhen tircd, exercise the other foot in a precisely similar manner. When tired, exercise the first foot again, but in the opposite direction this time, following with the other foot in the same manner. You will soon leam to move both feet at once, and you may continue the exer-cise until tired without risk of hurting yourself.
