ANALYSIS OF PROPERTIES OF THE ELECTRIC FIELD INTENSITY STANDARD WITH A POWER FREOU!ił:CY WITH SOUARE-SKAPED ELECTRODES
S u m m a r v
The main field of application of electric field intensity stanadards of a power freąuency includes the calibration and investigation of field intensity meters. The paper presents the construction of a standard with sąuare--shaped electrodes. A mathematical model of the standard, taking into eon-sideration the reaction of the grounded conducting piane, parallel to the electrodes of the standard, has beeb elaborated. The field distribution for the model has been analyzed by the method of integral eąuations. It found that there existed a large heterogeneity of the field with one of the electrodes being earthed, and a substantially lower one, when the electrodes were fed symmetrically in relation to earth. The theoretical results were verfied in the course of the experimental investigations. A relationship between the field intensity, reproduced by the standard in the central point of the svstemf and the suppły voltage of the electrode has been established and the boundary error of the standard has b?en determined.
