Occurrences of gaaea, especially hydrocarbon ones, and oil in the Kłodawa salt dome are diacuaaed. Geological aetting of theae phenomena are diacuesed along with methoda of atudiea uaed in aearch and delinea-tion of zonea of the occurrencee.

The paper also preaenta geochemical characteriatica of hydrocarbona found in the Kłodawa dome and the hitherto identified poaaible genetic typea of the recorded bitumens and oils« Reaulta of atudiea on hydrocar-bon occurrencea_f carried out in order to reduce the related hazards for mining worka, are ahown to be poaitive« On the other hand, the develop-menta in geochemical atudiea ahow that the queation of aearch for hydro-carbon depoaita in area of the Kłodawa aalt atructure ia morę complex than hitherto aaaumed.
